About the Role
The AI Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated workflows that connect data, tools, and AI models. This role sits at the intersection of low-code automation and AI orchestration, building pipelines that bring together SEMrush, Airtable, ClickUp, GA4, GSC, and OpenAI APIs into a unified agentic system — NOVA.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage n8n or Make workflows integrating 3rd-party APIs.
- Build LLM-powered agents that analyze data and take contextual actions (e.g., audits, reports, keyword tracking).
- Create custom nodes or modules in n8n for specialized logic.
- Manage triggers, webhooks, and Airtable automations for internal data syncing.
- Collaborate with backend developers to connect workflow outputs to databases or UIs.
- Test, debug, and document all workflow logic for scalability and maintenance.
- Implement proper error handling, rate limiting, and retries in workflows.
- Collaborate with GTM and marketing teams to translate business processes into automation logic.
Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 3+ years working with n8n, Make, or Zapier at advanced level.
- Working knowledge of OpenAI / Anthropic / LangChain integrations.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and data mapping.
- Ability to write small scripts in JavaScript or Python within workflows.
- Experience connecting marketing or CRM tools (GA4, HubSpot, ClickUp, Airtable).
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in data enrichment / ETL using low-code tools.
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks (AutoGPT, LangGraph, CrewAI).
- Understanding of marketing data models and AI-Ops principles.
