Responsibilities:

Copywriting and Content Development
  • Write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct copy for Skyrocket and its clients for various channels, including but not limited to websites, social media, emails, and advertisements
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences, market trends, and competitor activities to inform copywriting strategies.
  • Integrate data and persuasive information into copy to effectively communicate key messages and drive desired actions.
  • Demonstrate versatility in tone and style to cater to diverse target markets and adapt writing style based on brand guidelines, target audience preferences, and specific communication channels.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, art directors, and other team members to ensure the copy aligns with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
  • Implement efficient workflows to maximize productivity and meet project timelines effectively.

Organization and File Management:
  • Maintain systematic storage and organization of client files within designated Google Drive folders, including assets, documentation, briefs, and other relevant materials
  • Ensure proper permissions are set for all files to maintain confidentiality and data security
Pitches and Presentations:
  • Participate in pitch presentations and brainstorming sessions, providing support and insights in copywriting
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials and communicating ideas effectively to internal teams and clients
Industry Knowledge
  • Be knowledgeable on market developments and opportunities around the advertising, digital, creative, technology, marketing, and consulting industries
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to creative operations and project management
  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in operational processes and tools
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and best practices for continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in the same field is preferred. However, fresh graduates or undergraduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, especially Google Docs, for collaborative writing and editing.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Clickup for efficient task management and collaboration.
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing proficiency in copywriting for marketing materials, particularly for social media platforms.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering work on schedule.
  • Openness and responsiveness to constructive feedback.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach and being initiative.
  • Proven experience in public relations (PR) writing, including press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
