This role is a senior technical leadership position focused on designing and delivering scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for complex enterprise healthcare environments. You will play a critical role in shaping end-to-end architecture across patient and member management, care programs, and healthcare workflows. Acting as both a solution architect and technical leader, you will translate business requirements into robust, compliant, and high-performing Salesforce implementations. The position requires deep expertise in Health Cloud capabilities, integrations, and healthcare data standards, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. You will lead distributed engineering teams, guide architectural decisions, and ensure delivery excellence across the full software lifecycle. Accountabilities
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions while ensuring technical excellence, governance, and alignment with business goals:
- Own and lead the architecture and delivery of Salesforce Health Cloud implementations for large-scale healthcare clients.
- Translate complex healthcare business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.
- Define and govern solution architecture across Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation.
- Lead technical design, code reviews, and architectural governance across distributed engineering teams.
- Oversee full delivery lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Design and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and healthcare standards such as FHIR and HL7.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA/PHI) and Salesforce security best practices.
- Mentor and guide multi-shore teams including developers, admins, QA, and DevOps engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and program managers to manage scope, risks, timelines, and delivery commitments.
- Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts, platform enhancements, and adoption of new Salesforce Health Cloud capabilities.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce architect with strong healthcare domain expertise and proven leadership in enterprise-scale implementations:
- 9+ years of overall experience in Salesforce architecture and enterprise solution delivery.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, including care plans, patient/member profiles, care teams, and health data models.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems, including EHR/EMR integrations and payer/provider workflows.
- Strong experience designing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and standards like FHIR and HL7.
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery across Agile and Scaled Agile environments.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, data governance, sharing models, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor teams, drive technical excellence, and enforce best practices in architecture and code quality.
