This isn't your average Valuer role.

Edward Mellor Auction is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Property Valuer to join one of the busiest and most ambitious Auction teams around.

We operate 15 property auctions every year, which means our stock moves quickly, the pace is relentless and there is always another opportunity around the corner.

This role isn't for the faint-hearted.

It's fast. It's demanding. It's target-driven. You'll cover a large geographical patch, juggle multiple valuations, vendors, instructions and opportunities at the same time – and you'll still need to remain calm, collected and available for your customers.

But if you thrive on pressure, love winning business and get a buzz from seeing your name at the top of the board, it could genuinely be the best job in the world.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for generating, valuing and winning new instructions across Cheshire/South of the Country and the surrounding areas, building a strong pipeline and developing relationships that create repeat business.

You'll be expected to:

• Carry out property valuations and confidently advise sellers on the best strategy for their property.
• Win instructions – we're looking for someone who knows how to close.
• Generate your own opportunities alongside the leads provided by the business.
• Build strong relationships with sellers, investors, landlords, developers, agents and property professionals.
• Manage a large geographical area effectively.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently work towards ambitious targets.
• Work closely with our Auction Consultants to give every property the best possible chance of selling.
• Manage multiple properties and customers simultaneously without allowing standards to slip.
• Understand your market, your numbers and your competition.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from valuation through to Auction.

Who we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Property Valuer is essential.

You don't necessarily need Auction experience – we can teach you Auction the Edward Mellor way – but you do need to know how to value property, build rapport, negotiate and win an instruction.

We're looking for someone who is:
