Job Title: Benefits Administrative Specialist

Location: Remote Based

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am -6:00pm

Pay Rate: $17.00

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Benefits Administrative Specialist to support the administration of employee benefits programs. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and communication related to health, retirement, leave, and other benefit offerings to include payroll inquiries. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality employee support.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and leave programs
  • Process enrollments, changes, terminations, and life event updates accurately and timely
  • Maintain and update benefits data in HRIS and vendor systems
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits coverage, eligibility, claims, and policies
  • Assist with open enrollment preparation and communication
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate payroll deductions
  • Coordinate with benefits vendors and internal payroll/HR teams
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., COBRA, FMLA, ACA, ERISA)
  • Prepare reports and perform audits to ensure data accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in benefits administration or HR support preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulations
  • Excellent data entry and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Requirements:

  • Must pass an internet speed test (download equal to or greater than 25, upload equal to or greater than 5, Ping ms equal to or less than 175 

  • Must have the ability to connect with an ethernet cable to a modem/router  

 

  • Live in one of the following states AL, AR, AZ, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY 

    • We are currently NOT hiring in the following geographies:

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated hourly rate for this role is $17.00.
