Business Analyst – Salesforce / nCino

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will support the Release 2 implementation of nCino, with a primary focus on commercial lending. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements and system solutions.

The successful candidate will be expected to operate independently from day one and contribute directly to business analysis activities throughout the implementation. Responsibilities will include leading discovery discussions, documenting requirements, creating user stories and workflow specifications, developing design documentation, and supporting demonstrations and implementation activities.

This position requires strong hands-on Salesforce experience and a solid understanding of nCino. Candidates with strong commercial lending or banking experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong business analysis capabilities and the ability to quickly learn the platform.

Required Skills:
• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, technology, or a related field
• Strong hands-on Salesforce experience
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience
• Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements
• Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow specifications
• Experience creating business or functional design documentation
• Strong working knowledge of nCino
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users
• Ability to conduct discovery discussions and ask effective questions to clarify business needs
• Experience supporting Agile and Scrum environments
• Experience using Azure DevOps for user stories, tasks, or backlog management
• Ability to demonstrate system functionality to end users
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with limited direction

Bonus/Soft Skills:
• Commercial lending experience
• Banking or financial services experience
• Experience with nCino commercial lending implementations
• Experience supporting phased technology releases or implementations
• nCino certification
• Salesforce certification
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud
• Experience with loan origination or commercial lending workflows
• Experience with data mapping, integrations, APIs, or system interfaces
• Experience with process mapping and workflow documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working with remote or geographically distributed teams
