Due to the growth of our business, we are looking for a Business Services Support Supervisor, who will be responsible for building and maintaining a comprehensive support structure for our consulting Client.
As a Business Services Support Supervisor, you will provide high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to senior leadership while overseeing a team of two assistants. You will ensure smooth daily operations, efficient processes, and timely delivery of key business support activities.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, proactive problem‑solving, and the ability to balance hands‑on tasks with team leadership responsibilities.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

1. Productive tasks – 60% (supervision and execution)

 

Executive Support & Stakeholder Management:

  • Comprehensive calendar and meeting management, including scheduling and coordination
  • Travel and expense management, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with internal guidelines
  • Development of communications, summaries, and presentations
  • Monitoring and managing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of required tasks and documentation
  • Coordinating team events, workshops, and activities, including logistics
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams to enhance operational efficiency

 

Business Operations & Data Management:

  • Ownership of internal files, logs, registers, and reporting cycles
  • SharePoint site administration and content ownership, including maintenance of structure and access
  • Distribution list governance to maintain accurate communication channels
  • Coordination and processing of invoices and billing, acting on behalf of the supported Client

 

2. Team coordination / people management – 40%

 

  • Day‑to‑day supervision and guidance of two business support assistants
  • Allocation and prioritization of tasks across the team, ensuring balanced workload
  • Providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
  • Ensuring high‑quality, consistent support delivery and adherence to internal standards
  • Acting as a point of escalation for complex queries or issues

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Outstanding ownership for delivery on time
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to cooperate in a dynamic, matrix organization undergoing constant transformation
  • Strong people‑management skills, being a transformative and open‑minded leader
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including active listening and influencing
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Experience in a client‑driven or professional services environment
  • Experience with MS Teams and PowerPoint
