Overview
We are seeking an Engineer II, Business Systems to support and enhance enterprise applications used by our Revenue and Customer Support functions. This role is primarily focused on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and supporting Revenue/Client Services systems.
This is a hands-on role focused on configuring solutions, improving usability, and supporting reliable system operations while building technical depth across platforms.
About the Team
The Business Applications team owns and evolves the systems that power core business processes, partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.
What You’ll Do
Configure and support solutions in Salesforce based on defined requirements
Build and maintain automations, workflows, and system configurations to support business processes
Assist with integrations across Salesforce and related tools using APIs and native capabilities
Troubleshoot system issues, investigate root causes, and support resolution efforts
Design solutions with a focus on usability and end-user experience
Partner with Business Analysts to execute against a prioritized backlog
Follow standard delivery processes for configuration, testing, validation, documentation, and release readiness in alignment with SAFe practices
Create and maintain documentation as part of solution delivery
Support Salesforce user management, including user setup, access provisioning, permission assignments, and routine access maintenance
Support additional business systems and tools within the Revenue and Client Services teams
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience supporting business systems, with focus Salesforce and related platforms
Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration (Flows, validation rules, layouts, reporting, etc.)
Working knowledge of Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and access controls
Experience following structured delivery practices, including proper configuration, validation testing, change control, and SAFe-aligned execution
Basic understanding of integrations and APIs
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and technologies
Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Interest in growing technical expertise across multiple systems
Nice to Have
Salesforce Administrator certification
Experience supporting Revenue or Customer Support processes
Exposure to additional business systems beyond Salesforce
Experience configuring AI-driven customer support or sales engagement tools integrated with CRM platforms
Why This Role
You’ll build a strong foundation in Salesforce and business systems while gaining exposure to a broader application ecosystem, with opportunities to expand your technical skillset over time.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $63,700 - $85,000. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan.
