About Clay

Our mission is to help organizations turn any growth idea into reality.

We see growth as a creative practice, not a formula. Finding and reaching your best-fit customers takes unique ideas and constant iteration. As AI makes execution faster and tactics easier to copy, creativity is the only lasting advantage. We're already helping thousands of customers — including Anthropic, Notion, Google, and Ramp — go to market with unique data, signals, and AI research.

In 2025, we raised a $100M Series C backed by world-class investors including Sequoia, CapitalG, and First Round — and crossed $100M in revenue.

In 2026, we announced our second employee tender offer in 9 months at a new $5B valuation. We also launched a community equity round, for our customers, agency partners, and club members.

Some things to know about us:

  • Our community includes 11,000+ customers, 150+ integration partners, 125+ agencies, 50+ Clay clubs, and 30k members on Slack.

  • Our culture is unique inside and outside of work. Our team members are also DJs, activists, writers, clowns, marathoners, skydivers, psychedelic therapists, social workers, and more.

  • All employees can work for free with world-class coaches who specialize in creativity, management, and more.

  • Our operating principles — including negative maintenance and non-attached action — guide our work. Read more about them here.

  • Read about us in the NYT, Forbes, First Round Review, and more.

🌟 Clay Campus Ambassador

This inaugural class will play a foundational role in co-creating Clay’s Campus Ambassador Program with our team this summer as part of our Clay on Campus Growth Committee —and will return to campus in Fall 2026 ready to launch a Clay Club on their own campus.

Clay Campus Ambassadors will play a key role in raising awareness and adoption of Clay as a skill for students and help shape how the next generation of GTM Engineers (GTME) learn, build, and grow on campus.

Open to all students, especially those interested in Growth, GTME, Sales, RevOps, or Product

📚 Program Structure

Phase 1: Learn Clay

Clay Campus Ambassadors will learn Clay together in their own virtual training program.

The one-week (mostly) async training program kicking off June 1 will provide hands-on experience with Clay, help you build a portfolio of Clay use cases directly correlated to careers in Growth, GTME, Sales, RevOps, or Product. You’ll also have direct access to Clay’s team, and feature mentors who can speak to career paths in go-to-market engineering.

By the end of the one-week program, you will:

  • Have a portfolio of Claytables to use for career development

  • Gain an understanding of Clay and modern GTM workflows

  • Learn how today's leading growth teams operate

  • Meet your fellow campus growth committee leaders

Phase 2: Program Development

After completing the training program, the Clay on Campus Growth Committee will collaborate directly with our team this summer to co-design the campus ambassador program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bi-weekly planning calls with the Clay team (June-August) plus additional time driving Clay’s campus playbook strategy

  • Assist in launching Clay campus clubs globally through the development of a repeatable playbook

  • Continued Clay product education

  • Identifying growth opportunities on campus

  • Giving feedback on how Clay can support launch and program success yearlong

  • Working with Clay on programming logistics and collateral

  • Developing measurement for program success

This is a 0→1 opportunity to help build a completely new program from the ground up.

Phase 3: Launch And Lead Your Campus Club

Once you’ve learned Clay and co-developed the program, Clay Campus Ambassadors will launch and lead their campus clubs for the 2026-2027 school year. The full scope of the role will be defined by the Clay on Campus Growth Committee during summer program development.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Recruit students to join campus club and create workspaces

  • Host Clay trainings on campus

  • Organize events and hackathons

  • Spread the word about Clay as a skill for students

🎁 What You’ll Get Out Of It

  • 🧠 Hands on experience co-creating a new, global program alongside our team

  • 💎 A Clay workspace with free credits that renew every semester

  • 💼 Direct access to Clay's internal GTME talent network and talent team

  • Direct thought partnership with Clay
