🚀 About the Role

As a Network Planning & Optimization Consultant, you will play a key role in improving the performance and reliability of mobile networks. You will work with multi-generation networks (2G–5G), analyzing performance indicators, optimizing radio parameters, and ensuring the network meets target KPIs and quality standards.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to data-driven network improvements, automation initiatives, and knowledge-sharing within the team.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Perform planning and optimization activities across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G networks.
• Process and analyze Drive Test data using industry tools such as TEMS Discovery.
• Conduct E2E logs analysis and generate optimization reports.
• Execute initial tuning and single-site optimization for multiple network technologies.
• Perform cluster optimization to achieve defined network performance KPIs.
• Monitor, analyze and report RAN KPIs and performance metrics.
• Conduct network benchmarking and performance comparisons.
• Perform KPI and parameter mapping for multi-vendor environments.
• Identify parameter inconsistencies and ensure database corrections.
• Support process automation and data analysis using BI tools and data processing techniques.
• Share knowledge internally through technical workshops and documentation.

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in mobile network planning and optimization.
• Solid knowledge of communications theory and RF fundamentals.
• Experience with 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G mobile networks and their key features.
• Understanding of 5G NR architecture and 3GPP specifications, including:
• RAN features
• Air interface parameters
• Radio Resource Management
• Mobility and signaling procedures
• Strong understanding of RAN KPIs, counters, and optimization parameters.
• Experience across the mobile network lifecycle (rollout, modernization, swaps).
• Hands-on experience with RF optimization, performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with network planning and optimization tools, such as:
• ATOLL
• TEMS Discovery
• Performance Manager
• U2020

⭐ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Open-RAN protocols.
• Experience with BI tools, data processing and automation.
• Skills in SQL, Python scripting, or data analysis.
• Experience working in multi-vendor telecom environments.
