The Credentialing Specialist position requires an organized individual with good time management skills and related industry experience, (both facility and clinic credentialing / privileging). The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for the initial credentialing and enrollment of providers for a variety of specialties. Additionally, maintenance of licenses, certifications, privileges, malpractice coverage, and contract specifications (addresses, re-validations, etc.) will be monitored and administrated by the Credentialing Specialist. The Credentialing Specialist is also required to notify providers and work with practice / office managers to facilitate completion of tasks. Professionalism in communication with clients, insurers, and industry contacts is a key component of this position. Duties can vary daily but are expected to be performed within a set period as determined by management.
This position may also support our in-house Contracting Team by taking on overflow.
