Data Engineer

 
Candidate should have strong understanding of Medallion Architecture in Databricks. • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models • Ability to handle large-scale, enterprise-wide domains (cross-functional data) • Define and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and governance practices • Align models with enterprise data architecture and business strategy • Translate business requirements into structured data models • Ensure models support data integration, consistency, and reusability • Embed data quality rules, lineage, and metadata management into designs • Hands-on experience with tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar • Strong understanding of modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, cloud DWs) and how modeling fits into them • Knowledge of dimensional modeling (Kimball) and/or Data Vault
