AI Acquisition is a $50M+ ARR education business teaching entrepreneurs how to build AI-powered service businesses. ~3,000 active clients across three program tiers. Backed by some of the best operators in the coaching and performance-marketing space. Remote, scaling fast, and extremely execution-heavy.



THE WORK

You’ll write the ads behind a $50M ARR AI-education business running multiple active funnels, with more launching. This is a direct-response seat inside a performance-marketing machine.

You are not here to write blog posts.
You are not here to “find the brand voice.”
You are not here to write pretty copy that sounds smart.

You are here to write Facebook ads that make people stop scrolling, watch, believe, and buy.

This role sits next to our incoming Head of Media / Creative Director. They will own the creative-production machine. You will own the written ideas that feed it:

  • Hooks
  • Angles
  • Script structures
  • Direct-response video ads
  • Framing content
  • CTA variations
  • Offer positioning tests

If you need six weeks and a mood board to write one ad, this is not your role. If you can produce sharp direct-response copy at pace, keep reading.



Requirements

HOW WE WORK

  • Volume + iteration > one “perfect” control
  • Logic matters as much as style
  • Strong ideas beat clever lines
  • Direct-response cadence: write → test → learn → rewrite
  • Small senior team. Direct line to operators. Zero bureaucracy.

THE STATE YOU’RE WALKING INTO

  • Multiple active offers with paid traffic already running
  • Mid-to-high six figures per month in ad spend
  • Creative team in place to execute your scripts into finished ads
  • Internal AI tooling already used across the business
  • Large amount of test volume, customer data, and offer feedback to work from

This is not a role where you sit around waiting for inspiration. There is a lot of work, a lot of data, and a lot of room to win.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-have:

  • 3+ years writing direct-response copy in a real performance-marketing environment
  • You’ve written Facebook / Meta video ads that actually ran
  • You understand hooks, pattern interrupts, proof, objection handling, and CTA logic
  • You can write clearly, fast, and with strong commercial instinct
  • You can explain why a piece of copy should work before it spends
  • You are highly fluent in English

Strong signals:

  • You’ve written for info-product, coaching, education, agency-services, trading, SaaS, or high-ticket direct-response offers
  • You have swipe files, hook libraries, angle docs, and a real writing process
  • You use AI well, not to replace thinking, but to accelerate research, ideation, iteration, and formatting
  • You catch logical contradictions naturally
  • You’ve reviewed landing pages, sales pages, VSLs, or decks and improved them, not just “word-smithed” them
  • People who’ve worked with you describe you as sharp, fast, and commercially dangerous

We’re not the right fit for:

  • Brand copywriters
  • Blog/SEO/content writers with no paid-social experience
  • Writers who confuse “clever” with persuasive
  • People who can’t think independently
  • Anyone who hasn’t worked hands-on with direct-response ads

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO

  • Write batches of Facebook/Meta video ad scripts
  • Generate multiple hooks/angles per offer, not one “hero concept”
  • Help pressure-test claims, positioning, proof, and CTA logic
  • Review existing ads and rewrite weak scripts fast
  • Support split-testing across hooks, leads, and framings
  • Improve language across adjacent assets where useful: landing pages, VSL sections, decks, CTA tests
  • Work closely with the media/creative team so scripts are actually shootable and usable
