JOB TITLE: Dynamics 365 Commerce Developer
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 6 Months
RATE RANGE: $48 - $58/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop Commerce SDK extensions for Store Commerce/POS, Commerce Runtime, Commerce Scale Unit, and channel scenarios.
  • Build integrations with payment, tax, loyalty, inventory, order, product, pricing, identity, e-commerce, and third-party platforms.
  • Create technical designs, estimates, code, test evidence, deployment packages, and support documentation.
  • Diagnose synchronization, transaction, performance, channel, API, extension, and production defects.
  • Apply extension-based development patterns, code-review standards, security controls, logging, monitoring, and upgrade-safe practices.
  • Collaborate with Commerce functional consultants and D365 F&O technical developers on end-to-end enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 6+ years of enterprise application development, including 3+ years of hands-on D365 Commerce development.
  • Multiple Commerce extensions, integrations, upgrades, or production enhancement releases.
  • Ability to own development from technical design through deployment and production stabilization.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Hands-on Commerce SDK, Store Commerce/POS extension, Commerce Runtime, Commerce Scale Unit, channel database, APIs, and deployment experience.
  • Strong C#, .NET, TypeScript or JavaScript, REST, JSON, authentication, debugging, and integration skills.
  • Working knowledge of X++, D365 F&O extensions, data entities, Azure services, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and release management.
  • Understanding of e-commerce extensibility, payments, security, performance, telemetry, and upgrade compatibility.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Dynamics AX Retail development experience.
  • Payment connector, e-commerce, React, Azure integration, Australian retail, or high-volume omnichannel experience.
