Brown & Brown is seeking an EB Client Assistant Sr. to join our growing team!

In this role, you will be under the guidance of Employee Benefits Team Leader or Unit Leader, and work in conjunction with Account Executives, Analysts and Producers to provide exceptional support and customer service.

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Work with Account Executives and customers on prioritizing requests.

  • Assist with various projects and research when necessary.

  • Provide customer service support in the absence of Account Executives including telephone or email when needed.

  • Maintain accurate customer files according to established standards.

  • Update files in a timely manner, coordinating and implementing the customer renewal process from end to end.

  • Collaborate with Account Management team to maintain Agency Management Systems with current required information and documents on an ongoing basis – census, rates, benefit summaries, commissions, and other agency management system duties as required.

  • Work closely with the Compliance Executive and other team members to assist with close outs maintain system integrity.

  • Assist in preparing materials for customer meetings, open enrollment meetings as requested for customers including, but not limited to, Benefit Guides, Flipbooks, and PowerPoint Presentations.

  • Expected to have occasional customer contact upon request of Producer or Account Executive during transition.

  • Continually work with Account Executives regarding the priority of projects.

  • Keep current with email.

  • Follow Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.

Licenses and Credentials

  • CT Life & Health Producer License

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or insurance experience (preferred)

  • 1+ years functioning in Employee Benefits department at an agency or company level (preferred)

  • High School Diploma

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

  • Exceptional telephone demeanor

  • General knowledge of Employee Benefits products and services

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and proven time management abilities.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Effectively working in a team environment.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range

$26.44 - $31.25 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
