The Outbound Email Marketer is the strategic partner to our clients and the main point‑person ensuring every outbound campaign runs smoothly and performs. This role blends hands‑on cold email expertise with client and account management in equal measure.
You’ll consult clients on offer angles, messaging, ICP definition, TAM viability, and sequence strategy — while also managing communication, project flow, performance reviews, and overall client success. Your focus is split between building effective outbound strategies and owning the client relationship, including retention and upsell opportunities.
Serve as the primary point of contact and campaign consultant for assigned clients
Lead onboarding, campaign reviews, performance check‑ins, and retention conversations
Translate client goals into clear outbound strategies and manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables
Communicate performance insights, next steps, and recommendations in a clear, actionable way
Maintain strong client satisfaction and identify upsell or expansion opportunities
Review and refine client offers, angles, messaging, and campaign ideas
Write or co‑write cold email sequences using proven outbound frameworks
Provide creative direction on personalization, hooks, positioning, and relevance
Diagnose weak campaigns, identify root causes, and recommend improvements
Collaborate with GTM Engineers to ensure strategy, messaging, and targeting are aligned
Refine client ICP definitions to ensure they are specific enough for relevance but broad enough for sufficient TAM
Advise clients when their ICP is too narrow (not enough targets) or too broad (weak targeting)
Review prospect lists for segmentation, prioritization, enrichment quality, and strategic fit
Help clients understand how TAM and targeting logic impact campaign performance and meeting quality
2+ years of B2B cold email lead generation experience
2+ years in B2B account management, customer success, or client‑facing roles
Ability to lead client calls, present insights, and manage expectations
Ability to evaluate offers, angles, and messaging for outbound effectiveness
Strong creative instincts for outbound copywriting
Experience with list building, segmentation, and enrichment
Ability to assess whether an ICP is viable for outbound
Understanding of TAM constraints and how they impact results
