This role is a high-impact position responsible for architecting and operationalizing production-grade AI systems that transform enterprise workflows and drive measurable outcomes. You will work closely with senior executives to translate strategic ideas into scalable AI solutions, including multi-agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, tool integration, and cross-system automation. The role demands a balance of deep technical expertise, clean engineering practices, and responsible AI deployment, ensuring reliability, compliance, and executive trust. Operating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, you will lead initiatives from concept to production, mentor peers, and contribute to organization-wide AI maturity. Accountabilities:
- Serve as the primary AI engineering partner to executives, transforming strategic questions into production-ready AI workflows
- Design, implement, and operationalize complex AI systems with attention to scalability, observability, performance, and reliability
- Develop multi-step agentic workflows, including orchestration, memory strategies, tool integration, and evaluation frameworks
- Implement responsible AI practices through guardrails, structured monitoring, and validation layers to ensure predictable and compliant behavior
- Collaborate with Security, Legal, and other stakeholders to enforce access controls, audit logging, and enterprise governance while maintaining efficiency
- Evaluate and rationalize AI tools and platforms, supporting consolidation, security alignment, and long-term enterprise sustainability
- Support post-launch adoption, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing to elevate internal AI capabilities and best practices
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating complex production systems in cloud environments
- Proven experience deploying AI-powered systems in production, including agent-based workflows, RAG, orchestration, tool-calling, and evaluation
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript) with a track record of writing clean, maintainable, production-quality code
- Expertise in distributed systems, APIs, CI/CD, testing strategies, production observability, and clean architecture principles
- Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders to translate ambiguous concepts into scalable technical solutions with measurable enterprise impact
- Familiarity with AI governance, data security, prompt injection risks, access control, and enterprise compliance standards
- High ownership, curiosity, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in high-visibility environments with minimal supervision
