We are seeking a motivated Lead Generation and Research Assistant to drive new customer acquisition for our client. This is a great opportunity to grow your sales career in a fast-paced tech company.
Core Tasks:
- Research and identify founder-led / lightly capitalized software and tech-enabled services businesses across targeted verticals (e.g., HealthTech, GovTech, PropTech).
- Leverage databases (e.g., PitchBook, Crunchbase, SourceScrub), LinkedIn, and web resources to develop accurate lead lists aligned with firm criteria.
- Monitor industry trends, capital raises, and M&A activity to flag actionable sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain and update CRM records to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and segmentation.
- Assist with outbound campaign targeting and list building to support outreach by senior bankers.
- Pull missing data from online sources
- Organize leads by thematic sectors, deal-readiness, and buyer fit to help prioritize prospecting.
Must-Haves:
- 1+ year of experience in lead generation, sourcing, research, or business development (experience in finance or tech is a plus).
- Knowledgeable of business software (SaaS or something similar)
- Strong attention to detail when researching companies and founders.
- Comfortable navigating sourcing tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, PitchBook, etc.).
- Clear, concise written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, able to manage multiple workstreams efficiently.
