We are seeking an experienced and motivated MPS Engineer to support our customers across a broad range of technologies, including office and production print, digital display screens, retail print systems, and water cooler units.


You’ll be a key point of contact on site, responding to service calls, carrying out planned maintenance, and ensuring equipment performs reliably in busy, customer-facing environments.


The successful candidate will consistently deliver the highest levels of technical quality and customer satisfaction, working to agreed SLAs and keeping stakeholders informed from first visit through to resolution.


You’ll combine strong hands-on engineering capability with excellent organisation and a calm, solutions-focused approach, knowing when to troubleshoot independently and when to collaborate with our technical support team to resolve complex issues quickly and professionally.


Your responsibilities as a Digital Workspace Field Engineer will be:


  • Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range digital workspace technologies (mechanical, electrical, and network-related)
  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and preventative checks
  • Manage service calls efficiently, meeting SLAs and customer expectations
  • Provide basic network support (IP configuration, scan-to-email, print drivers)
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Manage van stock and ensure availability of spare parts
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times
  • Support equipment refurbishments where required
  • Liaise with the technical support team and escalate complex issues


About you


  • Proven experience as a Digital Workplace Field Engineer.
  • Manufacturer trained and accredited on tier one office, production, printing technologies.
  • Experience of working with document scanners and associated solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of leading brands (e.g. Canon, HP, Lexmark, Sharp).
  • Strong IT / networking knowledge including Microsoft technologies such as drivers, print servers, and connectivity.
  • Experience of working with digital display screens, media players, and audio-visual technology.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage workloads, handle pressure.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Calm under pressure and solution focused.
