$90 - $110 USD hourly

• $90–$110 per hour

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Evaluate contract-focused legal AI systems on your own schedule and help improve their legal reasoning.

AI training is the human work behind artificial intelligence: experts read what a model produces, decide whether it is right, and write the feedback that makes the next version better. Legal AI is only as good as the people who check it, so the teams building it need licensed attorneys who can mark up a commercial agreement, see where an AI analysis gets the risk wrong, and explain the better position.

What you'll do

• Redline MSAs, NDAs, DPAs and other commercial contracts the way a careful transactional lawyer would

• Spot the material issues in each draft, the right company position and the fallback you could accept

• Explain every redline in plain terms and tie it to the legal or commercial concern behind it

• Keep your contract readings consistent and your legal writing precise from task to task

Why this is worth your time

• Build practical legal-AI evaluation skills while earning $90–$110 an hour

• See firsthand how AI handles commercial contract review, from limitation of liability and indemnification to confidentiality and data protection

• Help make AI legal work more accurate, more complete and better at judging risk

• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute

Who this is for

• Hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

• Be actively admitted to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction

• Have four or more years of transactional practice, whether at a law firm or in-house

• Bring commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation experience, including provisions on limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality and data protection

• Be fluent in English and write clear legal analysis, with sound judgment, accurate contract interpretation and meticulous attention to detail

• Helpful background includes technology transactions, commercial agreement negotiation, playbook use, and balancing preferred language with practical business outcomes; prior AI training work is not required.

Pay and details

• $90–$110 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor

• Part-time, flexible schedule; fully remote, United States
