One of our large clients is looking for Oracle Forms/Reports Developer, details are as below:
Role: Contract
The duration of the engagement may be for up to a 24-month term. Due to the nature of projects , there may be exceptional circumstances where the total term may be extended beyond 24 months. The 24-month term is anticipated to start with a 6-month initial term followed by up to 18-month renewal(s). Note that the final term structure will be concluded as part of contract/SOW negotiations.
Role Description
The Oracle Forms/Reports Developer will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and
incident response and troubleshooting of departmental applications that are developed using
Oracle Forms 11g and 12c.
Responsibilities
⢠Maintain business applications using Oracle Forms and Reports 11g/12c.
⢠Resolves incidents that are reported in production applications.
⢠Liaise with users to refine requirements.
⢠Make application coding modifications to support changes requested by the business.
⢠Assist in upgrading to the latest version of Oracle Developer Tools and Database
⢠Complete Statements Of Work estimates based on requirements submitted by the business.
⢠Complete Solution Proposals for large enhancements.
⢠Perform system design work.
⢠Perform system testing prior to releasing changes for user acceptance testing.
⢠Perform implementation and release planning.
⢠Make application coding modifications to support changes requested by the business.
⢠Ensure system documentation is up to date
The Resource must have the following minimum qualifications or experience:
Requirements:
⢠Education: Bachelorâs degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related
field (or equivalent work experience).
â¢Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience working with Oracle Database, Forms/Reports and PL/SQL programming language.
o Proven experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Forms/Reports applications.
o Strong understanding of relational databases, data reporting, and data modeling.
⢠Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Reports Tools
o Proficiency PL/SQL and SQL.
o Familiarity with Oracle Application Server configuration as it pertains to maintaining Oracle Forms/Reports applications
o Familiarity with Java, C#, Microsoft Access
⢠Soft Skills:
o Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
o Analytical skills â developing or modifying software to better accommodate a business process
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
