This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Engineer, Salesforce Health Cloud in India.
This senior technical leadership role sits at the heart of large-scale healthcare transformation programs powered by Salesforce Health Cloud. You will be responsible for defining and driving end-to-end architecture across complex enterprise implementations, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant healthcare solutions. The position involves shaping technical strategy across patient/member journeys, care management, and healthcare data ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate complex healthcare requirements into robust Salesforce designs. This role also requires strong governance over integrations, data models, and platform engineering standards. Operating in a highly collaborative, Agile environment, you will act as both a hands-on architect and a strategic advisor, influencing long-term platform evolution and innovation.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for large-scale healthcare implementations.
- Define scalable technical strategies across Health Cloud modules including patient/member profiles, care plans, care teams, health timelines, and care gaps.
- Drive architectural decisions across Salesforce core, integrations, data models, automation, and healthcare-specific extensions.
- Design and govern integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and healthcare standards such as FHIR and HL7.
- Oversee full delivery lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, development oversight, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct design and code reviews while ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance optimization.
- Mentor and lead distributed Salesforce teams including developers, admins, QA, and offshore delivery groups.
- Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to manage scope, risks, timelines, and delivery commitments.
- Drive innovation through proof of concepts, platform enhancements, and adoption of new Salesforce Health Cloud capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA/PHI) and enforce strong governance across all technical solutions.
Requirements:
- 11+ years of overall experience with strong expertise in Salesforce architecture and enterprise delivery.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce Health Cloud implementations in complex healthcare environments.
- Deep understanding of healthcare domain processes including EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient lifecycle management.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience defining integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, and standards like FHIR and HL7.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in Salesforce security, data models, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and consulting mindset with the ability to guide technical and business teams.
- Experience working in Agile / Scaled Agile environments with active participation in sprint and release processes.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
