Proposal Writer

At Aoka, you won’t just be writing proposals — you’ll play a key role in helping us win and deliver impactful public sector projects across the country. This is a high-visibility role working directly with leadership, where your work directly influences growth and opportunity.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support proposal development for federal, state, and local opportunities
- Turn technical and operational input into clear, compelling, and compliant proposals
- Ensure alignment with RFP/RFQ requirements and evaluation criteria
- Collaborate closely with leadership and technical teams
- Help strengthen our proposal processes, content library, and win strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of federal proposal writing experience
- Strong understanding of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation)
- Strong writing and storytelling ability with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a part-time role
- Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States
