Role Overview

VIATechnik is looking for a QA Engineer to join our development team. You will help build cloud-based digital solutions that solve real-world problems in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry. We welcome applicants with 1+ year of experience, including those at the entry level.

This role offers the opportunity to grow technical testing expertise while supporting complex cloud-based applications that solve real-world industry challenges. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate test results and quality insights clearly to the development team.

The position is ideal for early-career QA professionals or technically curious individuals who want to deepen their automation, API testing, and cloud application testing skills. As VIATechnik continues to expand its digital platform capabilities, this role offers long-term growth opportunities in advanced test automation, platform quality engineering, and cloud-based product development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into testable scenarios.
• Perform manual, exploratory, and non-functional testing with detailed documentation.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using the Playwright framework
• Perform API testing to validate system functionality and performance.
• Manage defects and workflows using ClickUp and GitHub
• Support Agile and DevOps practices through continuous delivery.
• analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively and present test results and findings to the team.

What we expect:

• Experience with manual testing of software features using a systemic approach
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (such as Playwright)
• Proficiency in API testing techniques and tools (such as Postman or Curl)
• Working knowledge of project management tools (such as JIRA, Clickup, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with GitHub, Agile methodologies, DevOps, and continuous delivery
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• English proficiency at least at a B2 level
• Knowledge and experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies

What would be great to have experience with:

• Familiarity with AWS Products: AWS Amplify, Cognito, S3, DynamoDB and others
• Familiarity with Azure Products: AppServices, CosmosDB, Azure Blob Storage and others
• Experience working with SQL and noSQL databases
• Experience in 3-D Geometry including libraries such as Three.js or Babylon.js
• Experience in AEC specific APIs such as Forge, BIM360, Rhino, Revit, and/or Unifi
• Web-based data visualization (creating dashboards, integrating data from databases and other sources like Smartsheet)

Compensation and featured benefits:

• The monthly pay for this position is 6.500 - 9.000 PLN (net on B2B, gross on CoE). The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience
