Degree:

Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

General Objective:

Establish procedures and verification criteria in accordance with Engineering and Quality standards, and define Quality indicators for Manufacturing processes.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality
  • Problem-solving methodologies (8Ds, FTA, Ishikawa)
  • Strong experience in KPI tracking and corrective actions follow-up
  • Personnel management, blueprint reading, and GD&T
  • Microsoft Office
  • Minitab
  • Basic knowledge of ESD
  • Experience with ISO and other standards
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Core Tools
  • Advanced conversational English

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective teamwork, communication, and proactivity within the organization
  • Coordinate audits with technical staff and ensure effectiveness to prevent customer complaints
  • Conduct GR&R studies, CPK analysis, and SPC
  • Perform in-depth analysis of quality issues in QB and/or MP (Root Cause Analysis - RCA)
  • Follow up on customer complaints (RCA), implement systemic corrective actions and/or poka-yoke systems, drive process improvements, and document lessons learned
  • Assess and define risks and escalation before or during QB and/or MP
  • Promote containment actions for quality issues
  • Monitor audit performance and implement corrective actions
  • Manage quarantine and follow-up of non-conforming products
  • Actively participate in new product launches, representing the customer perspective
  • Provide support to the team during launch phases to ensure successful new product introduction and identify weaknesses
  • Drive improvements during product development stages and/or MP
  • Create or update QA documentation (PCP, PCP audits, verification sheets, formats)
  • Actively participate in engineering changes to ensure proper implementation
  • Track QA KPIs and implement corrective actions according to the A3 procedure
