In this vital role, you will lead delivery and engineering quality across multiple teams, overseeing complex, data-intensive systems. Your leadership will ensure that our partners receive secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. As a people and technical leader, you'll be instrumental in aligning engineering execution with program priorities while shaping best practices and improving project predictability. Your expertise will drive significant enhancements in the quality and safety of patient care while reducing costs and burdens on providers.
Accountabilities
- Manage engineering managers, senior engineers, and technical leads
- Drive performance management, coaching, and career development
- Oversee end-to-end delivery across design, development, testing, and operations
- Ensure systems meet requirements for scalability, reliability, and security
- Improve delivery predictability through metrics and planning rigor
- Drive execution within Agile frameworks across multiple teams
- Handle relationships with program leadership and external stakeholders
- Contribute to engineering strategy, hiring plans, and organizational design
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years in engineering management roles
- Experience leading multiple Agile teams in complex environments
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and modern engineering practices
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience operating in regulated environments or government programs
