In this role, you will oversee the formation and leadership of a dynamic team focused on leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to automate infrastructure operations. Your efforts will significantly reduce operational toil and enhance the reliability of systems across our partner companyโs engineering organization. Accountabilities
- Build and lead the Infrastructure Automation team of 5 engineers.
- Define and execute the AI automation strategy and roadmap.
- Lead the development of AI agents for automating DevOps and SRE tasks.
- Develop intelligent agents for automating database operations.
- Ensure the reliability and quality of automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive automation initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years in a people management or technical leadership role.
- Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Aliyun.
- Hands-on experience with SRE practices and operational runbooks.
- Proficiency in backend programming languages like Python, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies or LLM-based systems.
- Solid understanding of database systems and DBA operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
