Our client is seeking a Salesforce Architect to lead the evolution of their Salesforce ecosystem and bring structure, scalability, and strategic direction to a platform that has grown incrementally through multiple contractor implementations. This is a newly created role offering significant visibility and influence across the organization.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial problem-solver who enjoys diving into complex systems, experimenting with solutions, and establishing best practices that enable long-term scalability. This role partners closely with IT, Finance, and Sales leadership to design a robust architecture that supports the organization’s growth and product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Architecture & Strategy
Assess and enhance the current Salesforce architecture, which has evolved through multiple contractor-led implementations
Establish governance, best practices, and scalable architecture standards across the Salesforce platform
Design and implement a structured, maintainable system to replace existing ad-hoc processes
Lead-to-Cash System Development
Architect and implement a comprehensive lead-to-cash workflow within Salesforce to support a new product launch
Build and optimize pipeline processes across Salesforce and integrated business systems
Ensure seamless data flow across platforms to support accurate reporting and operational efficiency
API & System Integration
Design and manage API integrations that enable reliable data exchange between Salesforce and other core business platforms
Ensure consistent and accurate data movement to support business workflows, analytics, and reporting
Salesforce & Certinia (FinancialForce) Integration
Develop a unified architecture connecting Salesforce and Certinia (FinancialForce) for financial and operational processes
Improve platform interoperability by reducing data silos and eliminating inefficient manual workarounds
Implement enhanced reporting capabilities and automation for previously manual processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with IT, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure Salesforce aligns with business strategy and operational priorities
Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable technical architecture and practical system solutions
Qualifications
Required Experience
Strong experience with Salesforce architecture and platform development
Proven success designing and implementing API integrations across enterprise systems
Experience building or optimizing lead-to-cash or revenue lifecycle workflows
Ability to assess complex existing environments and implement scalable architectural improvements
Preferred Experience
Experience with Certinia / FinancialForce (highly preferred)
Experience integrating Salesforce with financial systems or ERP platforms
Background working in environments with rapidly evolving systems and limited technical resources
