This role focuses on enabling efficient, reliable, and scalable release management across complex Salesforce environments. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that support continuous delivery of Salesforce applications and configurations. The position plays a critical role in improving deployment speed, reducing risk, and ensuring consistency across development, testing, and production environments. You will collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and release managers to streamline DevOps processes. The environment is highly agile and automation-driven, requiring strong technical depth in both Salesforce and modern DevOps tooling. Accountabilities:
- Manage and optimize Salesforce deployment processes across Enterprise Edition or higher environments, ensuring reliable and efficient releases.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and related DevOps platforms.
- Support deployment activities using Force.com migration tools and other Salesforce release management utilities.
- Maintain and improve source control strategies, including branching, merging, and versioning practices using GitHub.
- Collaborate with Salesforce teams to deploy custom code, configurations, and metadata across production and sandbox environments.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Salesforce DevOps, including automation, testing, and release governance.
- Support integration and optimization of third-party tools within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience managing Salesforce deployments in Enterprise or higher environments.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines.
- Strong expertise in GitHub, Jenkins, and Salesforce DevOps toolchains.
- Proven experience using Force.com migration tools for deployments and release management.
- Solid understanding of source control management, including branching and merging strategies.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce metadata architecture, APIs, and release management processes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as CloudBees, Jenkins, and related automation platforms.
- Familiarity with Salesforce configuration and third-party deployment tools.
- Salesforce Administrator certification or other Salesforce certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Safe Agile environments preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced delivery environments.
