Role summary
Prutech is delivering a system-wide Salesforce Education Cloud implementation on an AI-first delivery model: a small, senior team using AI tooling for configuration, development, documentation, and validation, with experienced architects owning enterprise quality. We are seeking a client-facing Education Cloud Solution Architect to own solution architecture direction and serve as the senior technical authority on the program.
Key responsibilities
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across six functional pods: Catalog & Discovery; Reporting & Analytics / Feedback & Survey; Communication & Engagement / Support Services; Enrollment & Registration / Profile; Credential Management / Learner Center Portal; Finance & Billing
• Govern and extend the Education Cloud data model (36 modules, 471+ mapped objects) and its connections to Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and integrations (MuleSoft)
• Serve as the technical authority validating AI-assisted configuration and development output against enterprise quality, security, and scalability standards
• Lead fit-gap decisions between out-of-the-box Education Cloud capabilities and custom development, including direction on Commerce Cloud
• Advise on managed-package strategy, release architecture, and the boundary between the core platform and future adjacent applications
• Represent architecture in client governance sessions; translate business requirements into sustainable, Salesforce Well-Architected Framework solutions
• Mentor and level-up the delivery team on Education Cloud patterns and AI-assisted development practices
Required qualifications
• 10+ years Salesforce implementation experience, including 3+ years as a solution architect on Education Cloud (or strongly equivalent higher-education Salesforce programs)
• Deep working knowledge of the Education Cloud data model (Affiliations, Program Enrollments, Course Offerings, Learning Outcomes, credential objects) and connected-cloud architecture
• Proven experience validating AI-generated configuration/code and integrating AI tooling into enterprise delivery (not just prototypes or demos)
• Experience with higher-education integrations: SIS, identity/SSO, payment processing, and financial aid or related systems
• Current Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credential (or equivalent combination of certifications)
• Strong client-facing communication and governance experience on large, multi-workstream public-sector or higher-education programs
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with Public Sector Solutions and Experience Cloud in higher education
• Familiarity with integration platforms (MuleSoft) and analytics (Tableau, CRM Analytics)
• Commerce Cloud experience is a plus
• Experience defining AI-assisted delivery standards, review gates, and quality controls for configuration and code
