Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Operations Manager
Location: Durham, NC 27709 (Hybrid 2–3 days/week preferred or Remote)
Pay rate: $95.00/hr – $120.00/hr
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (40.0 hours/week; 6-month contract)

Overview
The Salesforce Marketing Operations Manager serves as the operational owner of Grifols' Salesforce platform ecosystem during a 6-month engagement focused on stabilizing, governing, and optimizing CRM and marketing technology capabilities. Working closely with Marketing, IT, Analytics, and third-party vendors, this role oversees platform enhancements, data governance, campaign execution frameworks, and release management. The manager translates business requirements into technical solutions while establishing a 12–18 month platform roadmap and preparing the organization for future capabilities, including Salesforce Data Cloud and advanced personalization.

Job Specifications
  • Direct Salesforce platform operations, managing enhancement requests, intake prioritization, solution delivery, data quality, and release planning
  • Oversee Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud workflows, optimizing donor engagement, customer lifecycle, and retention programs
  • Function as primary operational liaison between business units, internal IT resources, external consultants, and technology vendors
  • Maintain the Salesforce enhancement roadmap, build executive governance dashboards, and track key campaign, journey, and platform utilization metrics
  • Establish and document governance frameworks, operational workflows, and standard operating procedures to reduce operational risk
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience required
  • Minimum 3 years managing Salesforce operations, CRM programs, or platform governance required
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, platform administration capabilities, and business process optimization required
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, external vendors, and consultants required
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud / CDP, donor engagement, or healthcare/life sciences regulated environments preferred
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Business Analyst) preferred

  • Engagement Duration: 6-month contract assignment.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite in Durham, NC) preferred; open to Remote candidates.
