Salesforce Platform Engineer

Role: Salesforce Developer (Lead)

Location:-NYC.NY ( Hybrid role Duration: 6 months Video then in-person interview

Job Description This role requires strong systems thinking, product-mindedness, and technical leadership–not just hands-on development. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, leading distributed teams, and making pragmatic trade-offs that balance user needs, scalability, and delivery velocity.

• Own the technical direction and system design of Salesforce solutions end-to-end.
• Translate ambiguous business goals into clear, scalable technical approaches.
• Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to shape requirements and solution direction.
• Lead and mentor offshore and distributed Salesforce developers.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, code quality, and architectural consistency.
• Review designs and implementations with an eye toward long-term maintainability and system health.
• Identify risks early and drive pragmatic mitigation strategies.
• Remain hands-on as needed to unblock delivery or prove patterns.

• Salesforce solutions are durable, understandable, and evolvable.
• Strict adherence to our operational rhythm and meeting hygiene.
• Offshore teams operate with clarity, autonomy, and accountability.
• Stakeholders trust technical recommendations and tradeoff decisions.
• Delivery is predictable without sacrificing system integrity.
• Complexity is actively reduced, not accumulated.

• Significant experience designing and delivering Salesforce solutions at scale.
• Demonstrated ownership of Salesforce system architecture (not just feature delivery).
• Experience leading offshore and/or distributed development teams.
• Strong ability to reason about tradeoffs across performance, scalability, usability, and time-to-market.
• Comfort working with incomplete or evolving requirements.
• Clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Product-minded engineer who thinks in terms of user outcomes and system impact.
• Independent, self-directed, and comfortable making decisions.
• Experience working as an independent consultant, technical lead, and/or consultant.
• Pragmatic approach to architecture—knows when to go deep and when to keep things simple.
• Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, and Architecture certifications.
