DatamanUSA has an exciting opportunity for a Salesforce Release Engineer to work with one of our direct clients in Olympia, WA.

Job Title: Salesforce Release Engineer
Duration: 8+ Months
Location: Olympia, WA

Summary:

  • Salesforce release management, deployment automation, CI/CD, environment management, release governance and production deployment support.
  • Establishing and operating a standardized Salesforce release management process across development, testing, UAT, staging and production environments.
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps, QA, Product, Sys Ops and technology leadership to ensure product changes are packaged, tested, promoted, deployed, validated, and documented.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Salesforce metadata
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Flows, Objects and fields, Permission sets and profiles, Sharing rules, Validation rules, Record types, Custom metadata/settings
  • Reports and dashboards
  • Experience Cloud, integrations, or other Salesforce products
  • Salesforce APIs
  • Salesforce sandboxes and production environments
  • Salesforce DevOps / Release Engineering CI/CD

Experience: Hands-on experience building or maintaining Salesforce CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, release preparation, production release deployment, troubleshooting failed deployments, Salesforce Metadata expertise, Testing / QA, Integration, Git / Source Control, Release Governance, Release Calendar, Hotfix Management, Documentation, Automation, Security & Access, Monitoring & Metrics.

Required Experience: 5+ years Salesforce experience, 3+ years Salesforce DevOps / release engineering experience, managing Salesforce releases across multiple environments.

Environment: Large enterprise Salesforce environment, Government/public-sector Salesforce environment, Highly regulated environment.

Technologies: Azure DevOps, Git, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, CI/CD, Apex/LWC deployment, Complex integrations, Large Salesforce implementations.
