Salesforce Project Manager - Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to lead and coordinate enterprise software implementation initiatives within a large-scale Salesforce environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project deliverables, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project progress, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of project objectives. This role serves as the primary point of contact for task execution and delivery at the Salesforce Org level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software implementation projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project execution, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate and direct cross-functional project teams consisting of technical and business resources.
• Manage project scope, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate Agile and/or Scrum ceremonies where applicable.
• Provide project reporting, status updates, and escalation management.
• Ensure alignment of project activities with organizational objectives and governance standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership to drive successful project outcomes.
• Manage project plans, resource allocation, and execution activities across multiple workstreams.

Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory Requirements)

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, candidates must possess an additional four (4) years of qualifying IT development project experience, for a total of seven (7) years of qualifying experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience serving as a Project Manager or Scrum Master on software implementation projects.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience directly managing teams of at least five (5) full-time equivalent (FTE) resources.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience managing or supporting Information Technology (IT) development projects.
• Must possess at least one active certification from the following:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • SAFe Scrum Master
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) – Scrum Alliance

Important: Active certification is mandatory. Candidates without one of the listed certifications will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• ITIL Certification.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with California Employment Development Department (EDD) systems.
• Experience managing Salesforce implementation, modernization, or digital transformation projects.
• Experience working in public sector or large enterprise environments.
