SUMMARY The Salesforce Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will be responsible for the manual and automated execution of test cases, documenting defects, and validating that insurance-related software meets requirements. This individual will closely collaborate with developers, business analysts, and operations to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and test execution to defect tracking and resolution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to develop detailed test plans and test cases, including positive and negative scenarios.   Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests to verify system behavior meets defined requirements.   Compile, track, and document defects in a bug tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, ALM), clearly describing issue, expected outcome, and reproduction steps.   Maintain traceability between test cases and requirements using traceability matrices to ensure coverage.   Collaborate with testing, development, and business teams to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and retest defects.   Support defect triage sessions and participate in root cause analysis to drive improvements.   Prepare and provide clear, timely test progress and product quality reporting to project stakeholders.   Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, offering test input during backlog refinement and sprint planning. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience   Four (4) or more years of experience as a QA Analyst or software tester, preferably in insurance or a regulated environment   Salesforce Administrator   Salesforce Platform App Builder SKILLSStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis mindset coupled with a consultative approach.   Proven experience writing and executing detailed manual test cases and maintaining test documentation.   Strong expertise with defect management tools (Jira, ALM, etc.) and maintaining traceability matrices.   Knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, UAT).   Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.   Basic SQL skills and data validation experience.   Experience in Agile environments and test execution within Scrum teams.   Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is a plus.   Knowledge of the insurance domain—P&C, billing, claims, underwriting, or policy administration processes a plus.#LI-DR2 #LI-REMOTE
