CRM Management
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to serve as the technical authority for a multi-cloud environment spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. This role combines clearing an existing backlog, advising on strategic platform roadmap, and leading the technical transition of a managed services engagement from an incumbent vendor.
Responsibilities
- Triage and prioritize existing defects/enhancements; remediate legacy customizations (deprecated Process Builder/Workflow, CRUD/FLS anti-patterns) by migrating to modern Flow/Apex patterns; drive root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues
- Act as trusted advisor translating business goals into a target-state architecture; define a phased roadmap balancing quick wins with modernization; favor native/OOTB capabilities over custom code; present architecture decisions to executive stakeholders
- Lead technical knowledge transfer from the incumbent vendor (codebase/documentation discovery where gaps exist); define cutover plans and hypercare support; establish managed services processes (ticket intake, SLA triage, release management)
- Own design decisions across data model, security model, and integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware); review code for standards adherence; mentor developers and consultants
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture roles across Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud
- Proven experience owning and prioritizing an existing backlog of enhancements/defects
- Experience with vendor transitions or managed services takeovers, including technical due diligence under limited documentation
- Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and the Salesforce security model
- Integration experience (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar; REST/SOAP APIs)
- Ability to produce roadmaps and architecture documents, and present to executive audiences
- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment tooling (Copado, Gearset, SFDX/Git)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English, with a minimum B2+/C1 level for effective communication
Nice to have
- Salesforce Application/System Architect or Platform Developer II certification
- Experience with CPQ, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud
- Contact center architecture (Omni-Channel, CTI)
- Regulated industry or multi-org consolidation experience
