Salesforce Technical Lead 

Position Summary

The Technical Lead will be responsible for the overall technical architecture, solution design, development leadership, integration strategy, and successful delivery of Salesforce-based solutions within an assigned Salesforce Org. The individual will provide technical oversight for enterprise-scale implementations, ensure alignment with business and project objectives, lead development teams, and support highly available, integrated IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Define and manage solution architecture for large-scale integrated IT systems.
• Provide technical leadership for Salesforce application development teams and oversee code quality, security, performance, and scalability.
• Design and implement multi-tier (n-tier) architectures supporting enterprise applications.
• Develop integration strategies and implement REST-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
• Ensure solutions meet high-availability, performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, solution architects, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support data migration, data governance, and large-volume data processing initiatives.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, risk management, and solution documentation activities.

Mandatory Qualifications

Technical Leadership Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience serving as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect with direct responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of integrated IT solutions.
• Experience must include solutions supporting:
  • At least 5,000 combined internal and external users.
  • At least 5 million data records.
  • Multi-tier (n-tier) architecture environments.
  • High-availability architectures, including clustering, load balancing, or similar resiliency mechanisms.

Team Leadership

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing teams of five (5) or more full-time technical resources.

Salesforce Development Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce application development experience implementing solutions using at least three of the following technologies:
  • Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • SOQL
  • SOSL
  • RESTful API Development and Integration
  • Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, candidates may possess an additional 4 years of qualifying Salesforce development experience beyond the minimum required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• ITIL Certification.
• One or more active Salesforce certifications, including:
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect
