Senior Copywriter

Summary:

Molekule is looking for a Senior Copywriter to help define, evolve, and elevate how we communicate as a brand across the U.S. and globally. This role is responsible for shaping Molekule’s voice, tone, and narrative as we grow into new, disruptive and exciting spaces.

This is a unique creative challenge. As a science-first company, accuracy, transparency, and trust are foundational. The Senior Copywriter will translate complex science, technology, and health concepts into clear, compelling language while maintaining a high bar for research, sourcing and detail.

You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and alongside designers and art directors as a classic art + copy team, creating work across campaigns, products, platforms and touchpoints.

What You Will Own:

• Define how people understand Molekule: our products, our science, and our mission to bring clean, healthy air to everyone
• Help refine and evolve Molekule’s brand voice and tone across channels and markets including TV, social, paid performance, experiential, and more
• Concept and write across the funnel, including: advertising, email, website redesigns, landing pages, product launches, packaging, app structure, and help content
• Partner closely with designers and art directors from concept through execution
• Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, human, trustworthy copy
• Research, validate, and cite sources to support claims and messaging
• Ensure consistency, clarity and accuracy across all customer-facing language

What You Will Bring:

• At least 5+ years of experience in a copywriting and/or UX writing role
• A strong portfolio demonstrating brand, product, and performance work
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in craft at both the conceptual and line-edit level
• Comfort working with research, data, and source material to inform creative work
• A clear understanding of how language, claims and trust work together in science-driven or regulated categories like healthcare, med tech, etc. 
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to balance creativity with responsibility

Writing & Craft:

• Ability to write clearly and confidently across formats, from high-level brand storytelling to precise product and UX copy
• Strong editing skills and a high bar for accuracy, consistency, and clarity
• Experience working within legal, regulatory, or scientific guardrails

Planning:

• Work under the Creative Director and Brand Team to plan, scope and prioritize copy needs across campaigns, launches, and initiatives
• Help improve creative workflows by anticipating needs, flagging risks and maintaining a forward-looking planning mindset
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Marketing and Channel teams

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with UX writing and best-in-class principles for digital products
• Familiarity with website and app ecosystems, not just campaign work
• Ability to think structurally about language, hierarchy and user flows

There will also be moments where you step beyond the strict definition of “copywriter”...helping shape strategy, refining positioning, or supporting teams across the business. Reporting Structure:

• This role reports directly to the Creative Director. Performance will be evaluated based on quality of work, accuracy, consistency, ability to meet deadlines and overall contribution to the company’s growth and brand health.
• This role will create work for and collaborate closely with the Head of Paid Media, Head of Channel Marketing, Sr. Director of Lifecycle and E-commerce, Product teams, and ultimately the Molekule executive team.
• This role will work alongside brand designers, art directors, and the Social Media and Influencer Manager.

Physical Requirements:

This position is fully remote, with working hours and location flexibility at the discretion of the Creative Director, for the duration of employment. Physical demands of this position include, but are not limited to sitting, standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, twisting, reaching, bending, lifting up to 10 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, dexterity of utilizing hands and fingers, ability to work in a manufacturing environment, ability to work onsite, seeing (close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception), hearing and speaking.
