Senior Data Specialist - GCP

What you will do:

• Design and maintain data pipelines (ingestion, transformation and orchestration) using Python and SQL.
• Work extensively with BigQuery and other GCP services such as Dataform, Data Transfers, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions and Cloud Storage.
• Support cloud operations, acting occasionally on cloud administration tasks in partnership with DevOps.
• Collaborate on CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code (Terraform), versioning (Git) and pipeline deployment.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, proposing improvements for scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring and troubleshooting of pipelines in production.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand data needs and deliver efficient, reusable and well‑structured solutions.

What we are looking for:

• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Dataform, Data Transfers, Pub/Sub and Cloud Functions.
• Strong skills in Python and SQL for building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience working with structured and semi‑structured data formats used in analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git workflows and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures and data modeling.
• Ability to operate in a hybrid role between Data Engineering, Architecture and Cloud/DevOps when necessary.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
