Senior Java Microservices and AI Developer - Remote / Telecommute

Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for architecting and deploying scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, along with designing robust RESTful/gRPC APIs and Python-based AI agent services. This role requires extensive expertise in Python, LLM orchestration, vector databases, and event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Demonstrate extensive experience architecting and deploying scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Maintain a strong background in designing robust RESTful and gRPC APIs as well as Python-based AI agent services.
• Apply expert knowledge of Python and LLM orchestration tools, including LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, and LangGraph.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of vector databases and prompt engineering.
• Utilize hands-on experience developing with LLMs (specifically Claude), including building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, creating agent skills, and designing AI-driven workflows.
• Apply deep expertise in Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and message streaming.
