π Project Overview
This engagement focuses on modernizing, scaling, and maintaining an enterprise Salesforce Service Cloud environment. The core objective is to deliver high-impact business functionality, build modular interface components, enhance overall system performance, and establish robust third-party API integrations to support core business processes.
π Key Responsibilities

Custom Development & Component Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable custom solutions using Apex and Lightning frameworks, leveraging Lightning Web Components (LWC) as the primary development standard while supporting legacy Aura and Visualforce components.

Service Cloud & Lead Routing Automation: Develop and optimize Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, focusing on advanced Omni-Channel features including presence management, agent capacity rules, and automated work routing architectures.

API & System Integrations: Build and maintain fault-tolerant, high-throughput integrations connecting Salesforce with external enterprise platforms using Salesforce REST APIs, Bulk APIs, and Metadata APIs.

Third-Party & Telephony Ecosystems: Integrate third-party SaaS applications, AppExchange packages, and Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) / digital messaging frameworks into the core CRM.

Agile Execution & Delivery: Independently execute technical tasks within active Agile/Scrum delivery sprints, conducting thorough unit testing and participating in cross-functional technical alignment.
π‘ Must-Have Skills

Experience Level: 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in Salesforce backend and frontend development within enterprise ecosystems.

Core Development Stack: Demonstrated mastery of Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Batch/Async Apex) and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

Salesforce Service Cloud Expertise: Deep practical experience configuring and customizing Service Cloud features, specifically Omni-Channel routing logic, capacity models, and presence configurations.

API & Data Integrations: Proven track record building direct integrations with external platforms utilizing Salesforce REST APIs, Bulk APIs, and Metadata APIs.

Legacy Component Support: Working knowledge of Aura components and Visualforce pages for legacy code maintenance and refactoring.

Agile Delivery: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, sprint planning, and task execution tracking in tools like JIRA.

Governor Limit Optimization: Experience designing asynchronous queue pipelines, rate-limiting algorithms, and bulkified triggers to navigate Salesforce governor limits under heavy payload volumes.

This role requires a minimum overlap of 6 hours with US Central Time (CT) business hours during a standard 8-hour workday to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams.
