Job Summary:
This role involves architecting, constructing, and maintaining a robust private cloud infrastructure designed for high availability and scalability. The primary focus will be on automating operational tasks, enhancing platform resilience, and facilitating smooth service deployments for internal users. You will partner with various teams to guarantee platform stability, security, and ongoing enhancements to deliver reliable compute and storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage scalable, highly available private cloud infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure operations using Infrastructure as Code.
- Monitor and optimize platform performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain OS images and deployment frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure platform uptime and stability.
- 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating mid to large-scale enterprise or cloud environments.
- Familiarity with private cloud technologies including VMware, bare metal environments, file and block storage, as well as cloud infrastructure providers like AWS, GCP.
- Operational experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) at production scale, workload deployment via Helm, ArgoCD
- Strong scripting and coding skills in languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Scala.
- Expertise with infrastructure/configuration management tools such as Ansible, or Terraform.
- This position requires significant experience in designing, deploying, and operating mid to large-scale enterprise or cloud environments, with familiarity across various private cloud technologies and cloud providers being a plus.
