Senior Software Engineer | Remote contractor opportunity with Micro1

Micro1 is seeking experienced software engineers to help train next-generation AI systems by creating realistic coding tasks, implementing fixes and features, and building deterministic verifiers for valid solutions. Project work may involve reviewing and improving code, test suites, and model-generated technical work.

Micro1 is looking for strong backend experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++ or similar; experience building scalable services and APIs; comfort with debugging, performance work and automated testing; and sound code-review judgment. Testing strategy and maintaining large test suites are a plus.

Engagement: Independent contractor, remote, approximately 15 hours per week; flexible schedule. Micro1 advertises $30–$100/hour. Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications; minimum weekly task submissions apply.

Selection includes screening questions, an approximately 30-minute AI interview, a technical assessment if required, and hiring-manager review. Selected candidates should be ready to begin within 24–48 hours after onboarding.
