Position Overview
Alpine is seeking a Software Consultant Intern to support our Canadian territories. This role provides hands-on experience in software consulting, technical support, and customer engagement within the construction technology space.
Working alongside experienced Software Consultants and Sales teams, the co-op student will assist in delivering software training, supporting implementations, and helping customers maximize the value of Alpine’s proprietary software solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to gain real-world experience in consulting, technical problem-solving, and customer relationship management.
Core Responsibilities
- Support Software Consultants in managing customer relationships across Canada
- Assist with software demonstrations, user training sessions, and onboarding activities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
- Help evaluate customer operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency using Alpine software
- Assist with software implementation tasks including installation, configuration, and testing
- Document customer interactions, issues, and solutions to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Sales to support new customer onboarding and existing account growth
- Participate in internal meetings to share customer feedback and market insights
- Support regional and national projects as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a post-secondary institution (required)
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong interest in software consulting, technical support, or the construction/building industry
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience with CAD, construction processes, or technical software is an asset but not required
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada (as required)
- Valid driver’s license required
