Software Developer, Part-Time AI Coding Task Authoring - Remote (Brazil)

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Software Developer to create realistic coding challenges and automated verifiers for AI training. Work remotely for about 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule, with $30 to $100 per hour equivalent, paid per task that meets project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Create realistic and challenging coding tasks focused on feature implementation and bug fixes.

• Build deterministic automated verifiers for coding solutions.

• Use backend engineering knowledge to produce high-quality training data.

• Refine task difficulty and quality with the project team.

Qualifications:

• Professional fluency in English.

• Strong backend development experience in Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, C++, or a similar language.

• Ability to build scalable services and APIs.

• Comfort with debugging, performance work, and automated testing.

• Sound code review judgment and an understanding of secure coding principles.

• Ability to design clear coding challenges and automated verifiers.

• Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.

Helpful experience includes cybersecurity, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, security code reviews, codebase refactoring, or complex features in large applications. Minimum submission requirements apply. This role is remote and open to applicants in Brazil.
