Technical Writer
100% Remote but the manager wants candidates located in California.
Duration: 12+ Months
We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer who, working within the product team, generates, and releases regulated end-user and service documentation for diagnostic hardware and software. The documentation includes product manuals, addendums, field service manuals, change tracking, and approvals.
This person develops and designs instructional and informational content to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective use of our products. This position requires concise, grammatically excellent topic-based writing, and also strong communication and organizational skills in working with multiple departments.
The ideal candidate is comfortable writing in a content management system and managing content from draft reviews to final edits, approvals, and release. An eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must. Independent action and initiative are required.
Consults frequently with software developers, engineers, and customer-facing advocates such as technical support and training teams. Works closely with project teams, project management, product managers, other technical documentation representatives, and management to obtain information. Performs necessary support tasks: coordinates with internal customers, ensures regulatory compliance, and obtains approvals.
