Change, Configuration & Visual Content
- Track updates from engineering changes, regulatory requirements, safety findings, and operational lessons learned.
- Maintain alignment between product versions and related publications, including change logs with source, rationale, approver, and effective date.
- Collect input from subject matter experts and develop supporting illustrations, diagrams, photos, and other visual instructional content.
Who are you really?
- You are a strong technical writer who can turn complex information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on accuracy, consistency, and version control.
- You are process-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working with subject matter experts across departments.
- You are proactive, curious, and able to manage multiple priorities while keeping documentation projects moving forward.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of technical writing or controlled-publications experience, ideally in aviation, aerospace, defense, or a regulated technical field
- Demonstrated ownership of document control, revision control, and review/approval workflows
- Ability to interview subject-matter experts and convert complex technical input into clear procedures
- Strong command of templates, formatting standards, and publication consistency
- Equivalent military, technical, or aviation documentation experience may substitute for a four-year degree
- Ability to travel approximately 10–20% to observe procedures, capture photography, and validate instructions
Preferred Specializations
- Experience with UAS or aircraft operating documentation, checklists, or flight manuals
- Familiarity with configuration management and document-control systems
- Working understanding of Part 107, SMS principles, and UAS operating documentation
- Skills in illustration, diagramming, or basic technical graphics tools
- Experience supporting audits or regulated documentation environments
Compensation Package:

- Health Coverage Reimbursement: We reimburse the cost of your existing or preferred healthcare plan (amount varies depending on family size).
- 401(k) program with employer matching
