Location: Remote – Must live in South-Central United States 
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 + Uncapped Commissions (OTE: $120K+) + Annual Bonus

Territory Sales Manager (Industrial Automation) Description

Our client, a growing leader in industrial automation, is seeking a technically credible, hunter-driven Territory Sales Manager to expand business across the South-Central U.S. This role focuses on selling industrial automation solutions (PLCs, controls, motion systems, robotics, and related components) into OEMs, system integrators, and manufacturing environments. You’ll inherit existing relationships but are expected to aggressively develop new business and expand market share. Success in this role requires the ability to sell consultatively, engage engineering and operations teams, and navigate long, complex sales cycles tied to automation projects, upgrades, and system integrations. This is a high-autonomy opportunity for someone who understands how automation systems are applied on the plant floor and thrives on building business from the ground up.

Territory Sales Manager (Industrial Automation) Responsibilities

•    Grow sales within the assigned region by targeting OEMs and key accounts
•    Develop and maintain strong customer relationships 
•    Manage the full sales cycle including cold outreach 
•    Partner with the Distributor Manager to target and expand distribution channels
•    Lead product training sessions for customers and partners as needed
•    Represent the company at trade shows, including both attendance and booth setup
•    Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and product improvement opportunities
•    Maintain organized pipeline management using CRM tools
•    Execute strategic travel to target accounts and strengthen relationships

Territory Sales Manager (Industrial Automation) Qualifications

•    Industrial automation sales experience required 
•    Experience selling into OEMs, integrators, or manufacturing environments required 
•    Experience with long sales cycles (180+ days) required 
•    Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic) required
