About the Role
Join a dynamic Indigenous organisation where your travel coordination and event management expertise will help support meaningful outcomes for Traditional Owners and the wider community.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role provides high-level travel administration and executive support while ensuring the seamless coordination of corporate, governance and community events.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Coordination
- Manage and coordinate travel bookings, including flights, accommodation and vehicle hire.
- Obtain quotes and secure cost-effective travel arrangements.
- Coordinate travel allowances and related payments.
- Monitor travel expenditure and reconcile corporate card transactions.
- Manage the travel inbox and respond to travel-related enquiries.
- Ensure all travel activities comply with organisational policies and procedures.
Events Coordination
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and events across the organisation.
- Support the planning and delivery of Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings, community engagement activities and other key organisational events.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event outcomes.
- Manage event logistics, including venues, catering, accommodation and travel requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience coordinating travel and accommodation bookings, ideally through a travel management system.
- Strong administration and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to work.
- A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- A current unrestricted C Class Driver’s Licence.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including Drug and Alcohol testing.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience working with Aboriginal organisations, Native Title organisations or Indigenous businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and for Aboriginal people and communities.
- Experience coordinating corporate, governance or community events.
