Introduction

We’re looking for an experienced Acumatica Functional Consultant to join our growing ERP consulting team. The Acumatica Functional Consultant will possess strong functional expertise in the Acumatica ERP platform, with a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple end-to-end implementations. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their business needs, translating those needs into effective system solutions, and ensuring a high-quality implementation and post-go-live experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Functional Consultant : What You’ll Do

  • Lead and conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand customer business requirements, processes, and operational goals
  • Document current-state challenges, future-state requirements, and expected benefits in a professional and client-ready manner
  • Develop and contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs), project plans, and implementation roadmaps
  • Perform system configuration, functional design, business process mapping, and UAT support
  • Act as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance to internal teams and customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Support data migration validation, user training, and go-live readiness activities
  • Participate in sales and pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations, as needed
  • Provide timely, high-quality post-implementation support and customer assistance
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term solution success through proactive engagement

Desired Experience & Qualification

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an Acumatica Functional Consultant, with hands-on involvement in at least 5 full-cycle Acumatica implementations
  • Strong experience in functional setup and configuration of Acumatica, including chart of accounts, financials, distribution, and manufacturing modules
  • Solid understanding of ERP business processes, including accounting, purchasing, sales order processing, inventory, production, and reporting
  • Experience working with MS SQL Server and understanding of data structures and reporting concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping, and UAT
  • Ability to analyse business requirements and recommend best-practice Acumatica solutions with minimal customization
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • Velixo reporting experience (is a plus but not required)
  • Acumatica Manufacturing experience (is a plus but not required)
